I found the Game Rip OSTs for Corpse Party BoS and Corpse Party BCRF to be lacking, so I made my own. Lossless & MP3 links inside!

I was searching for track titles for the BoS soundtrack and found the 128kbps version that's floating around to have really poor audio quality and add compression artifacts. So I ripped apart the ISO and made my own. Once I had solved that, all the research on ripping audio from PSP games had been done. So I did the BCRF soundtrack too.

I split the BoS soundtrack into three discs. The first one consists of tracks unique to BoS, the second one consists of tracks used in BoS from BCRF, and the final one consists of the Cast Recordings. Very few of these tracks have official titles, so I did my best to fill in the track names myself using YouTube and replaying the game. There are still about 7 tracks (EDIT - I finished my replay, down to four!) out of 77 on the BCRF soundtrack that lack titles.

The sound files from the PSP are ATRAC3/ATRAC3plus. I converted those to WAV, using ffmpeg for the ATRAC3 files and HiMDRenderer for the ATRAC3plus files. I then converted those WAV files to ALAC using Tunesify. I tagged the ALAC files (easily the longest part of the process). From there, I'll covert the ALACs into whatever format people would like. Right now they are 256kbps VBR MP3s as well as the original ALACs.

EDIT - Did some more, Corpse Party 2: Dead Patient Chapter 1 and Corpse Party -Rebuilt-. Can't do much in the way of titles for Corpse Party 2 as I haven't played it and won't until there is an english translation, so the only named tracks are the ones that came with names. The PC game had raw WAV files, so that was a piece of cake. Convert, tag, upload, done.

Corpse Party Rebuilt is pretty much the PC-98 soundtrack. Some great ones in there, the Main Theme (Track 2), 'Track 9' and 'Track 13' are some of the best. I think I've had 'Track 9' on loop since I converted the thing. The source for the 16 track album are the 128kbps MP3s that come with the game. This is unfortunate. There also two WAV files and two MID files, all of which I converted to ALAC.

So in this download, the ALAC version is still mostly 128kbps MP3s, because at that point you're just wasting space if you up convert from 128kbps. It made some sense with the ATRACs because ATRAC is a shitty non-portable format, and converting to another lossy format would have lost data so the only direction to go is up.
